How Persona IQ Works
Persona IQ features implantable sensor technology that records and transmits a wide range of gait data from the knee implant to a patient’s personal base station at home. The data is then securely delivered to a HIPAA compliant cloud-based platform and can be accessed by you and your healthcare team. Persona IQ also works together with mymobility®, an online patient engagement platform that allows patients to see where they are in their own recovery process.
Persona IQ collects data on:
Range of motion in your knee
Step count
Stride length
Distance you walk
Walking speed
It does NOT collect data on your location.

A small “smart” stem extension is attached to the bottom of the implant. This stem contains sensors that capture information like your range of motion, stride length, walking speed, and step count.
A Connected Experience
Using sensor-based technology, Persona IQ provides the patient and healthcare team with real-time data on knee range of motion, gait, step count, and walking speed. The smart sensor collects data several times a day, analyzes it overnight, and presents it for review the following day.
Coupled with mymobility® (an online patient engagement platform), patients can see where they are in their recovery process and receive helpful reminders, progress reports, and exercise tutorials.
